Ruby Macsai-Goren

Summer Analyst

Sociological inquirer. Invigorated empath. Broadway enthusiast. Office snack fiend.

Ruby Macsai-Goren is a Summer Analyst at Third Plateau, where she specializes in qualitative research and assessment. Throughout the summer, Ruby will team up with various client teams, office initiatives, and the Social Impact Fellowship cohort to foster lasting impact in an ever-changing world. As a rising senior at Brandeis University, Ruby’s academic background focuses on sociology, qualitative research, religion, and conflict studies. On campus, she volunteers as a Bystander Trainer to help prevent sexual assault and encourage consent among her peers, is a three-time Orientation Leader, served as a Religious Studies Research Assistant, and has acted in several theatrical productions. Ruby has previously worked with a variety of direct-service nonprofits in fields including Education, Government, Advocacy, and Criminal Justice. Most recently, Ruby worked as the Indigenous Partnerships Programs Intern at Stand Up: Jewish Commitment to a Better World in Sydney, Australia, where she developed surveys to assess program success and wrote a leadership curriculum for Jewish and Aboriginal teenagers. She is passionate about empowering organizations to create an impactful difference in their world. Originally from Evanston, IL, Ruby cares deeply about rectifying systemic oppression against individuals who sit at an intersection of different racial, ethnic, and religious identities through restorative justice and dialogue. She is so excited to be with Third Plateau this summer and to bring her obsession with dairy-free snacks to the office.
